Phone Kiosk

This is our first product. Phone Kiosk function is just like a pay phone except it is has an attendee to collect the money. It is base on Motorola 68HC11 processor and develop using assembly language. It has single line interface for connecting to PSTN line, line out to plug in telephone handset, LCD display to monitor call status and printer interface to print receipt and reporting. Our phone kiosk system has capacity from one booth as describe before and multi booth system. Multi booth system using computer as the monitor and centralize receipt printing. This product already phase out since year 2000.

Locomotive SpeedoRecorder

Main function of this equipment is to display train speed. The advantage of our product is it is has recorder function which record the train speed every second. This record will retain within two days. Train speed digitized by an optical sensor which coupled to the train wheel. This speed data sent to display processor which then display it. Recording process handle by other processor which loosely coupled with main processor trough serial connection. The recording processor save the speed data into flash memory. The embedded application for this speedorecorder developed using assembly language. Around 300 pieces of the first generation already delivered to PT KAI (Kereta Api Indonesia – Indonesian Railway Corp.). Now we start delivering the second generation which base on GPS

Payment Gateway

Payment gateway is our other enterprise level application. User of this application is PT Telkom Indonesia. They use payment gateway to provide an online system payment to their customer. Our payment gateway connect the PT Telkom billing database with bank server. The payment gateway now provide two type connection to banking system that is Console application and Messaging type application. Console application usually use by bank teller which directly connect to payment gateway server. The messaging type connection is more modern. This connection type always connect to the bank server. With this architecture bank can provide many application to their customer the way to pay phone bill named it Automated Teller Machine and Phone Banking.

Currently our payment gateway already deployed nation wide and serve about seven millions PT Telkom subscribers.

GiTrack GPS Tracking

GiTrack is a GPS base module for tracking purposes. This module equipped with GPS receiver to locate self coordinate using GPS satellite system. Those location data could be stored locally to flash memory system and transmitted to application server using SMS/GPRS network.

The application server could display the mobile location and represent it using representative mapping system like Google Map.

Digital Loop Carrier

Digital Loop Carrier (DLC) is a type of Access Network for Telephone Circuit Switch System. In other word DLC is an extended equipment of telephone exchange. Phone subscribers not directly connect to phone exchange instead of connected to DLC through copper wire while DLC will connect to Phone Exchange through several ways. This connection could be fiber optic or microwave radio. With this type of connection DLC and Phone Exchange could separated by hundreds kilometers away not like usual connection where phone exchange only able supply subscribers within seven kilometers area. Our DLC support standard protocol V5.2. With this protocol our DLC can connect to every type of phone exchange which support the same standard.

This very big development project. We have to design 5 different hardware module. Every module type has their own microcontroller and we have developed the firmware by our self. The crucial part in this development is V5.2 protocol stack development because it is must strictly comply to standard. Failed on this compliance will make the whole development become useless. The result is 5 type hardware module , more than 70.000 lines source code and an NMS server application. We use three type of processor in this project. Those processors are RISC microcrontroller at main module which handle V5.2 protocol, Atmel AVR processor at other module and Rabbit processor at NMS module. We are using eCos Real Time OS at main module and PRRTX real time kernel for AVR processor.

Locomotive Radio

Locomotive radio communication is special architecture on how to communicate between locomotive and train dispatcher. The main function is for traffic controller in the railway system. The system is consist of the Locomotive Radio , Way Station Radio , Base Station System and Dispatcher system.

We are as a team ever design the locomotive radio around 1995. Currently we redesign the whole system with current technology not only the locomotive radio.
